Baked Oatmeal

A special weekend warmer, perfect for the whole family!


RECIPE


INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 2 tsp amla powder (optional)

  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds

  • ¼ cup chopped dates

  • 2 apples, cubed

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • Squeeze of lemon juice

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup plant milk


METHOD:

  1. In a medium baking dish, combine all ingredients (except the blueberries) and stir well to combine evenly.

  2. Add the blueberries and stir through gently.

  3. Bake at 200C for 30-40 mins or until golden on top and all liquid has been absorbed.

  4. Serve warm with fresh fruit or plant based yoghurt (optional).
